Passionate supporters of the actress are calling for that a man who leaped a barricade and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared footage reveals the Australian man pushing past camera operators and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though court documents showed that he was set to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram profile features videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last December.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Fans Voice Worry Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous supporters criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another response on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted guards at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while some called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.
