Close to 25,000 Lost Power in Queensland and Victorian Regions Following Severe Weather Systems
Around 25,000 households in southeastern Queensland found themselves without power on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems impacted the state, bringing wind gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Massive Hailstones and Broad Damage
Residents reported giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.
